again some more food porn that is blog worthy.
my house mate found a pasta machine on the side of the road.. we decided to put it and our herb garden to some use and made delicious fresh pasta with roasted pumpkin, goats cheese and a burnt butter and sage sauce… yummmmmy… then we did it again :p

i left work one lunch to cruise ears studio with a friend last year trying to find the perfect present, it was pretty sweet. We were met by the curly blonde artist and shown the new stuff he was working on…. we found the perfect gift and brought a couple more :p

i was flicking through my old photos of 2011 and realised that the food down in cook road has been improving. its definitely blog worthy.
this one was one of the first meals after returning from a month hiking, and eating only dhal bhat…. it had to be roast :p

”conceived as an extension to the garden at inverleith terrace, edinburgh (a detached house remodelled by GRA in 2003) the organic form embraces a 5 tonne boulder and provides a point of interest to both garden visitors and walkers alike on the adjacent water of leith walkway to the north. The structure which serves as a composting area and garden store is made entirely from industrial concrete reinforcing bar and is constructed using a technique similar to traditional willow weaving. it rises from the ground flowing upwards from the path edges, also constructed from woven re-bar. the construction method minimises any impact on the ground and surrounding mature woodland as the vertical reinforcing rods are driven straight into the ground rather than using traditional foundations. air and sunlight pass naturally through the structure providing ventilation for composting while creating light patterns which change constantly throughout the day’
